Everyone in Tangerine knows that there’s a huge flea market/antique mall 4 miles north of us on US 441. I wonder how many people have been there. When it’s open on the weekends, its population is easily double or triple that of Tangerine. Yet the only thing we really notice about it is the traffic going in or out.
Well, I took a trip out there and got a few photos of what’s up in that big building on the hill. {There’s people set up out in the field too.}
Umatilla is hosting its 36th Annual Cracker Christmas Parade and Festival. The parade is scheduled to start at 9 am in downtown Umatilla. Local businesses will be open during the daylong event. Free

The Parade line up begins at 12:30, with step off at 1 PM on December 3rd. The route is from 11th Street and Donnelly St to Charles St and Donnelly. It usually attracts several thousand parade watches along the route, last year more than 70 units participated. The parade theme is a “Star Spangled Holiday.”

Renninger’s Antique Market Extravaganza begins tomorrow and will go on through November 20th. Hundreds of vendors from all over the country will be there. Hours will be from 10 am until 5 pm at Renninger’s Twin Markets in Mount Dora, Florida.
