Two years ago today, Steve Blanton and Rosemary Orlando experienced the unthinkable, finding a dear friend murdered in his home. They went there after a flutter of phone calls were unanswered. Today, everyone is working on closure. The murderer is behind bars on the way to the big house, sentenced to life without parole, via a short futile stop to withdraw his guilty plea. Jeff’s 90 year old mother is trying to move past the loss of her only son assisted by friends doing things he would have done such as taking her to the doctor. And so we should take a moment to remember Jeff. I have no idea where Jim Henderson came up with the photos above, it looks like they’re from a photo booth somewhere. What great photos of a young talent. Rest in peace, Jeff. You are loved.

Kitty, these pictures were taken by Jim in the spring of 1986. He set up a “photo shop/shoot” in the “clubhouse” of his mother’s condo and we had a REALLY fun and fantastic night…
Thanks Michelle!
